Freya Aswynn is a runemaster. So I wll devote this page to her basic rune meanings, that you may wish to use for your rune readings.

She prefers the 24 rune futhork. She has written a book Leaves of Yggdrasil, that will provide you with a powerful insight into the runes and the Northern Feminine Mysteries.

According to Freya the runes have been passed on by an older civilization, possibly Hyperboria.

Down through the years the runes built a large storage-memory bank in the Northern Ancestral Soul.

Divination with the runes is the oldest system in Northern Europe.

Rune Knowledge was passed from one individual to another through the years. (Remember the concept of abstracting. )

Freya tells us that no runic kowledge is ever completely lost. It is preserved in the Well of Mimir. (This is what I refer to as the Quantum Ocean or Mind of God.)

To penetrate the deeper mysteries of runic knowledge it is important that you belong to the Northern European Group Soul.

The Northern European Group Soul is the Ancestral Soul of the Northern European peoples. It is where the genetic memory of all runic knowledge exists. (Again the Quantum Ocean, Mind of God.)

Intuition plays a very important part in rune readings.

Freya prefers the nine rune Ygdrassil System.

This gives you a rune reading of the nine worlds.

Although the runes do have certain key word meanings, they often trigger inner responses. (This is what I believe are the non-verbal runic energies which come out of the Quantum Ocean and interact with the energies in your aura.)

Quantum Physics tells us that what ever energies you carry around in your aura will attract their physical counterpart. Which is your physical reality. Therefore runic energies can change your life once you get them inside of your aura.
