RUNE-MASTERS-RUDOLF-GORSLEBEN

Rudolf John Gorsleben [actually Rudolf John born 16. March 1883 in Metz; died August 1930 in bath Homburg) was a ariosophisch oriented Rune Master and Esoteric Philosopher. His special fields were the Edda as well as runes and rune magic.

Runemaster Gorsleben's Life

In the First World War Gorsleben participated as a soldier, Gorsleben became a second lieutenant and fought in one the osmanischen army units attached to German units in Arabia. After his return to Germany he contacted Dietrich. Gorsleben joined the Thule Society. On 18 December 1920 he attended a lecture about "arischen humans”. During the Munich Soviet Republic Gorsleben was taken as a hostage by the reds.

At the beginning of 1919 he created the realm military command. He was enlisted as one its leader, Captain Mayr, Gottfried and Karl Alexander of Mueller were his political teachers .

He transfered to Munich in 1926. He published a weekly paper. He became the editor also.. Gorsleben in 1922 went to Dinkelsbühl. In 1928 he published his book concerning the secrets of Dinkelsbühl. He made Runes his special study.

Gorsleben belonged to the friend circle of the Lanz of Love Rock. On 25 December 1900 he created Ordo Novi Templi (Neutemplerorden) and the GUI DO and the Runemaster Guido Von List Ariosophie.

Gorslenben wrote the Edda Geselllschaft on 29 November 1925 in Dinkelsbühl. This group had many members.

Gorsleben transferred the Edda into German (so-called "Gorsleben Edda”). The work appeared first in 1920 and in further editions. Besides this he wrote among other things poems, a Kömödie and its war memories. Of the Edda stated he stated that it told about Atlantis.

Gorsleben's work "Wedding of Mankind", which appeared in 1930 in the Leiziger publishing house. It is recommended to this very day in neopaganistischen and religious völkischen circles and is considered as standard work of the arischen rune, race and religion.

In this work Gorsleben deplores the race purge of the "arischen race”. No doubt that we still live in a time of the race purge. All cultures on earth in one period from at least 60,000 years were created by the arische race and leader layers. That is an earth-history fact, and the truth must be bearable for everyone, even if its eternally recognizing Ichheit in the present life does not appear itself embodied in this high race.

Gorsleben's works on rune magic and - runic symbolism today are great sources of information.

A great deal of his runic writings have never been transalted into English.
